Multi-Agent Systems & Intelligent Simulation
Building the next generation of intelligent multi-agent simulation systems. Exploring how autonomous agents perceive, decide, and collaborate in complex virtual environments, with real-world applications in smart cities, education, and healthcare.

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas, working under Dr. Rym Zalila-Wenkstern at the Multi-Agent and Visualization Systems Lab. My research focuses on designing and building large-scale multi-agent simulation systems.
Before joining UTD, I founded Nyota Innovations, built AI-powered educational platforms used across East Africa, and won first place at the GAIME Startup Battlefield, a global AI competition. I bring an unusual combination of research depth and real-world engineering experience.
My work sits at the intersection of intelligent systems, interactive computing, and real-world deployment, from traffic simulation to virtual learning environments.
Designing simulation architectures capable of running thousands of concurrent autonomous agents in real-time environments. Investigating coordination protocols, emergent behavior patterns, and scalable communication frameworks for virtual agent populations. Advised by Dr. Rym Zalila-Wenkstern at the MAVS Lab, UT Dallas.
Exploring how agents perceive, reason, and adapt in environments that change in real time. This research examines planning algorithms, reinforcement learning strategies, and knowledge representation frameworks that enable agents to make robust decisions under uncertainty.
Applying multi-agent simulation techniques to real-world urban systems, including traffic flow optimization, distributed resource allocation, and autonomous vehicle coordination. Building on Dr. Zalila-Wenkstern's DALI system which reduced traffic waiting times by 40% using distributed agent-based traffic lights.
